As many of you are aware, COVID-19 has dramatically impacted many small businesses globally. It is with great sadness that we inform you that Prodigy has reached a critical breaking point where bankruptcy and permanent closure seems to be our only remaining option unless we get a little help.

We have applied for all possible federal aid through SBA, EIDL, and PPP programs. We have held out hope that if we can just push through one more week, while maxing out every line of credit and draining personal bank accounts, these funds will come to our aid.  The problem is, they are not, and we can't hold out any longer. The landlord, utilities, insurance, and the small business loan we took out in order to open in September of 2018, will no longer wait, postpone, or suspend payments.

We have offered optional virtual dance memberships that we did not require active Prodigy dancers to purchase, as we feared they were under similar economic distress and it wouldn't be right to force payments in such uncertain times.  However, we didn't get anywhere near the amount of dancers participating to keep up with the insurmountable debt that continues to accrue for each day we are legally required to remain closed.

This studio has been a dream and a vision since the formation of the PRODIGY DANCE CREW back in 2009.  It has been a blessing to work with so many incredible dancers and watch them grow and realize their full artistic potential.  So many amazing dancers have been a part of Prodigy and we have had so many incredible opportunities over the years; winning the USA Hip Hop Dance Championships - TWICE, appearing on The Ellen Show, America's Got Talent, Showtime At The Apollo, World of Dance, and So You Think You Can Dance.  Prodigy dancers have been given performance opportunities with Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Kat Deluna, Riff Raff, NBA Summer League, the Jordan Brand Classic, Las Vegas Aces, Ferrari, Zappos, Google, American Express, Puma, Clarks, Towbin Motorcars, EDC, Red Bull and more.

What started as a simple crew with 7 kids, evolved into a program and eventually a studio that became home to so many dancers, crews, instructors, desk and video staff, and even parents, all who spent countless hours coming to and from the studio.  Prodigy has played a part in many, now professional, dancers history.  Our studio has been a home and place of growth for not only our Las Vegas Community, but also the global dance community that we have been privileged to welcome from Tokyo, Canada, the Philippines and more.

At the start of 2019, we launched an After School Program with the hopes of empowering more youth to dream big and find self confidence ... This program has been one of the most fulfilling and inspiring, a great reminder of the power of DANCE and its ability to create community and provide mental and emotional strength during tough times.  We are so grateful and thankful to every person that has walked through our doors or come across our path over the years!  We love you all!

At this time, we are asking for your assistance .... Anything you can do to help us survive this global crisis. You can help by purchasing a virtual membership or by donating whatever you can spare to keep the Prodigy legacy alive.
